Chester von Mojave

Chester von Mojave is a gorgeous 3 year old classic German Shepherd. As you can see from his pictures, he thinks he is a lapdog and will happily snuggle up in your lap if you let him. Chester is very loving and gets very attached to his human. He is the current favorite of one of our volunteers who likes to take him with her on some road trips where he can hang out in the van next to her and put his head in her lap for some scratches. He is very well behaved in the car, gets along with all dogs and is good on the leash. However, Chester loves to chase kitties, so he either needs to go to a home without cats or someone who has the knowledge and patience to introduce him to cats properly and work with him. We've seen this happen many times, and many of our shepherds become best friends with the family cat in time. We think his ideal home would be with another dog as a buddy and someone who is either home all the time or most of the time.
